Building on the success of “P.O.E.: Poetry of Eerie,” several filmmakers from the original project have reunited for this latest venture, which seeks to bring Edgar Allan Poe’s stories to life through the unique perspective of Italian horror, with dialogue in English. While the first film emphasized the poetic and darkly atmospheric aspects of the famous Boston writer, this sequel shifts its focus to the gory, violent, and unsettling.
