In his film, director Julien Temple pays tribute to Dr Feelgood, the rhythm and blues band from Canvey Island, Essex. Emerging during the early 1970s, a time dominated by progressive rock, the band made a significant impact in the UK music scene with their electrifying performances and albums. Their influence was instrumental in the development of pub rock and punk music.
