TV producer Da-hye endured a difficult upbringing, marked by constant arguments between her parents, which eventually led to their divorce. Despite this, she found happiness when she met her ideal partner and became engaged. However, on a rainy evening just before her birthday, Da-hye’s friend Ji-seok requested a lift from her fiancé. Upon arriving, her fiancé discovered that Ji-seok had already been picked up by his sister, Ji-min. As he returned to his vehicle, a motorcycle struck him. The motorcyclist then deliberately turned back and tragically ran over him, resulting in his death.
