The story follows Ezaki (played by Yutaka Ikejima), who, on the day of his retirement, is confronted with a divorce request from his wife Kumi (Satomi Shinozaki) due to his infidelity. His partner then introduces him to her friend Kaori (Yuna Kawamura), but complications arise when Kaori’s mother, Etsuko (Ayumi Taguchi), and her younger sister, Yayoi (Kyoko Hashimoto), both former lovers of Ezaki, re-enter his life, leading to an unusual camaraderie.
