Djuro, a Romany man with a big, joyful family, makes his living by acting in Serbian adult films. Through his witty and ironic viewpoint, we are introduced to Martin, a Croatian war veteran. Martin becomes enamored with a stunning woman who portrays Little Red Riding Hood in an adult film adaptation of the classic tale. This woman also works as a prostitute, and in order to be with her, Martin must purchase her freedom from her pimp. The narrative unfolds as a tragicomic exploration of love in a world where it appears that all human values are either commodified or subject to cynical ruin.
