Two decades ago, a man in his middle years found himself lost in the enigmatic depths of a forest at midnight. After several days, he returned to his village, but the villagers believed he was possessed by spirits due to a series of bizarre occurrences. Fast forward 20 years, the man now owns a small restaurant, yet he remains haunted by the terrifying memories of that night. As more inexplicable events unfold, Feifan, an editor, along with his girlfriend Shuya, a hypnotist, and their friends, decide to venture into the forest to uncover the truth of what happened two decades earlier, with the man serving as their guide.
