Claude, a seemingly unremarkable statistics professor, has been shaped by a traumatic event in his childhood that resulted in the loss of his mother. This incident left him with a disturbing obsession. In an attempt to fulfill his twisted desires, he abducts Kim from a park and confines her in his basement.
