Me You and Five Bucks

Charlie, a charming yet hapless waiter in his early 30s, dreams of publishing his book, “7 Steps of Healing the Male Broken Heart,” while still working in New York City’s restaurant scene to make ends meet. Strapped for cash, he decides to find a roommate to share his cramped studio apartment. To his surprise, the first person to respond to his ad is Pam, his ex-girlfriend and the only woman he’s ever truly loved. She vanished without explanation, leaving him heartbroken and inspiring his book. The Pam he once knew was vibrant and wealthy, but now she returns to him broke and disheveled. As a new chapter unfolds, Charlie must uncover why she left and what has happened to her over the past three years. With the possibility of new romance on the horizon, he must muster the courage to help Pam rebuild her life without reigniting past emotions.
