When a group of four women takes up residence in an ancient house inherited from one of their aunts, they start experiencing unusual occurrences. They hear eerie voices, see ghostly apparitions, and are disturbed by unexplained sounds, which ultimately reveal the most sinister forces of malevolence and a level of horror and suffering that surpasses fear.
