Mama, gohan mada?

Two sisters, Tae and Yo, return to their childhood home, which is scheduled for demolition. While sorting through family keepsakes, Tae discovers a red box containing recipes and letters penned by their mother, who passed away two decades earlier. Through these writings, Tae learns about her mother’s hardships, including her move from Japan to Taiwan, the loss of her Taiwanese husband, and her fight against cancer. Motivated by this discovery, Tae journeys to Taiwan to explore her mother’s history, reflecting on the meals she lovingly prepared for the family.
