Portland-based interior designer Julia Galvins, played by Jana Kramer, decides to adopt a dog and turns to the charming and skilled dog trainer Owen Michaels, portrayed by Kevin McGarry, for assistance. As she takes on a project to design both a nursery and a “puppery,” along with organizing a puppy shower fundraiser for a client who is expecting a baby and has a pregnant dog, Julia seeks Owen’s guidance. Their collaboration could potentially blossom into a deeper relationship.
