In this 1999 romantic comedy directed by Jeff Pollack, a restaurateur named Dylan Ramsey, played by David Spade, finds himself in a series of comedic misadventures as he tries to win the heart of his beautiful French neighbor, Lila Dubois, portrayed by Sophie Marceau. The plot thickens when Dylan kidnaps Lila’s dog, hoping to play the hero by “finding” it later. The film also features performances by Artie Lange and Patrick Bruel.
