Lilies Not for Me

In 1920s England, an unexpected bond develops between a gay writer and a psychiatric nurse during a series of doctor-recommended “meetings.” As they engage in dialogue, he recounts the tale of his tumultuous relationship with a former friend, which took a dangerous turn when they resorted to a hazardous method in an attempt to rid themselves of their taboo emotions for each other.
