La tarea prohibida

Building on the themes explored in “La Tarea” (Homework), director Jaime Humberto Hermosillo delves deeper into the narrative with a fresh perspective. This time, the story revolves around a young man tasked with completing an assignment for his film and video class. He invites Marieda, a woman in her middle years, to his aunt’s house under the pretense of rehearsing for a video drama they plan to shoot. Unbeknownst to Marieda, the young man has been recording her every move since she arrived. Following a staged rehearsal of a sex scene, the two end up engaging in real intimacy, which triggers an unforeseen emotional response in the young man. Moments later, the true and horrifying nature of their relationship is shockingly unveiled.
