Kreola

Kreola travels to Santa Domingo to reunite with her photographer husband, Andy. Initially, Andy feels envious of Marco, who is in town searching for his missing girlfriend, Iris, who vanished after a girls’ trip to Santa Domingo. When Kreola and Andy spot Iris with the rough and domineering sea captain, Leon, Andy proposes that Kreola distract Leon to give Marco a chance to rescue Iris. Although Kreola initially dismisses the idea, she eventually falls under Leon’s spell. Andy’s writer friend, Jo Ann, attributes the island’s atmosphere to the tendency of puritanical Westerners to shed their inhibitions. As Andy and Marco struggle to free their women from Leon’s grip, the situation becomes dire.
