Kashikoi inu wa hoezuni warau

Due to her surname “Kumada” (which translates to bear + rice paddy) and her looks, Misa’s high school peers mockingly nickname her “Pooh.” As a result, she is friendless and only feels at ease with her pet parrot and the goldfish in the school’s science room. However, she unexpectedly forms a close friendship with Izumi, a charming and popular classmate. Although Misa is somewhat confused by Izumi’s interest in her, she is thrilled to finally have a friend. Yet, Izumi’s initially sweet nature slowly reveals a more sinister side.
