After the tragic loss of his young daughter, Thomas Dunn finds himself grappling with a crisis of faith. His life is in disarray, and his self-assurance is in tatters. However, on this particular day, he receives the uplifting news that his devoted wife, Mandy, is pregnant once more. This could be their opportunity to leave behind the sorrow of their past and for Thomas to rediscover his faith. Yet, on the same day, a colossal alien mother-ship appears in the sky, and humanity is suddenly besieged by apocalyptic visions. As the mother-ship unleashes a formidable alien armada that attacks Earth’s cities and towns, Tom and Mandy are separated. Tom must delve deep within himself to reclaim not only his faith but also the wisdom and strength needed to protect humanity from the impending doom. Before he can do so, he must reunite with Mandy, as he learns that their unborn child holds the key to mankind’s future. The stage is set for a decisive confrontation, and Earth’s final stand is about to commence.
