In the Dark

On the way back from an art exhibition showcasing her creations, Ali, a gifted artist, is involved in a car crash with her husband and their young child. Tragically, her husband and child die instantly, while Ali survives but loses her vision. Following her doctor’s advice, Ali employs a caretaker named Jeff to assist her in adapting to her new life without sight. Jeff’s support becomes crucial as she returns home, helping her adjust to her new reality. During this time, Ali also meets and quickly forms a friendship with her new neighbor, Linda. However, it soon becomes clear that Jeff is growing increasingly possessive and envious of Ali. His fixation turns violent when Ali expresses her desire to become more independent and reduce his assistance. Predictably, Jeff does not react well to this decision, and Ali must rely on her remaining senses to fight for her survival.
