How Police Missed the Grindr Killer
The film explores the harrowing tale of a serial killer who evaded capture due to repeated police oversights. Stephen Port, over a span of fifteen months, drugged, sexually assaulted, and murdered four young gay men in East London, disposing of their bodies in close proximity to one another. The narrative unfolds from the perspective of the victims’ families, highlighting the police’s inadequate investigations into each death. The authorities’ preconceived notion that these men had succumbed to self-induced overdoses of chem-sex substances enabled Port to continue his heinous acts against unsuspecting young men.
