Hopeless romantic Matt (Brandon W. Jones) decides it’s time to propose to his girlfriend, Alexis (Cassi Thomson). Before the big night, he rehearses his proposal with his best friend, Liz (Christa B. Allen). Matt is convinced that by following the formulas of his favorite romantic comedies, he’s sure to get a “Yes!” However, Alexis gently turns him down, explaining that he’s more in love with the idea of love than with a genuine relationship. After this unexpected setback, Matt immerses himself in a marathon of rom-coms and devises a plan to win Alexis back. Although Liz finds Matt’s plan ridiculous, she agrees to help him. As their efforts to rekindle the romance seem to be succeeding, Matt is confronted with the realization that he and Alexis may have drifted apart, and his heart might belong elsewhere.
