“Hoodwink” draws inspiration from the real-life tale of an Australian swindler who momentarily captivated the media, though not the law enforcement. The film features John Hargreaves as an inmate in a New South Wales prison. Unwilling to endure the strenuous labor expected of prisoners, he devises a clever scheme.
