This compelling short film delves into the essence of human existence, examining what it truly means to be a sentient being. Set centuries ahead in the future, it follows a neglected spacecraft adrift in the farthest reaches of space, powered and guided by a human brain. Confined within the cold, mechanical confines of the ship, the brain, devoid of any memory or self-awareness, astonishingly begins to perceive fragmented glimpses of its past life—images it cannot comprehend. Longing for liberation yet unable to act, the brain formulates a plan to construct a mechanical body using parts from the ship. Perhaps then, it will make sense of the visions it sees—perhaps then, it will truly feel alive.
