Hel

Jack, a neglected American author in his sixties, travels to the quiet, off-season Hel Peninsula in northern Poland to seclude himself and work on a screenplay. There, he encounters Kail, a local resident who makes a living conducting lie-detector tests. Jack struggles to find inspiration until a series of mysterious tourist disappearances occur, with one victim discovered dead and missing their tongue. Convinced by his friend Mila that Jack is the culprit, Kail starts his own investigation. However, the situation becomes more complicated when Kail realizes that Jack’s writing is centered around him.
