Hatchback

Wyatt, a jaded narcoleptic residing in a rundown apartment, aspires to become a journalist. His ambitions are nearly thwarted when he encounters a mysterious girl named Fern, who resides in an ’88 Toyota Tercel hatchback on his street. Fern’s father disappeared and was presumed dead when she was a child in Montana. After receiving an enigmatic letter from a stranger named Dr. Green, claiming her father is alive and in Los Angeles, she decides to search for him herself. Together, Wyatt and Fern embark on a quest to locate her elusive father amidst the city’s neglected areas, while their relationship begins to evolve beyond mere friendship.
