Harvest

Over the course of a surreal week, an unnamed village set in an unspecified era and location vanishes. Walter Thirsk, a local who has become a farmer, and Charles Kent, the confused lord of the manor, are childhood friends on the brink of confronting an external invasion: the disruptive force of modernity.
