Happy 40th

A woman marks her 40th birthday by inviting her three closest friends to spend an extended weekend with her and her husband. For the past two years, she has been confined to a wheelchair, leading her to become reclusive within her home. Her husband remains supportive, burdened by the guilt of the car accident that resulted in her condition. During the three-day gathering, it becomes apparent that each person is grappling with personal challenges and questions of identity.
