Guten Tag, Ramón

After five unsuccessful tries to reach the United States, 18-year-old Ramón opts to search for a friend’s aunt in Germany, but his efforts to locate her prove fruitless. Lacking documentation, funds, and knowledge of the local language, he struggles to survive on the streets until he encounters Ruth, a retired nurse who doesn’t understand Spanish. Despite the obstacles of language and preconceived notions, they find that compassion and human connection can make life more tolerable.
