Fanny, an introverted and isolated adolescent, embarks on a language exchange program in Germany. In Leipzig, she encounters her pen pal, Lena, a young woman keen on engaging in political activism. Fanny finds herself in a difficult situation. In an attempt to impress Lena, she fabricates a new persona, ultimately becoming ensnared in her own deceptions.
