Thomas Jacobs develops a technology that allows him to explore people’s memories from within. Despite his ethical reservations, he agrees to delve into the memories of a heroin addict to determine if the individual committed a crime. Unfortunately, a technical glitch ensnares his consciousness within the mind of the suspect. Trapped in the addict’s memories for over four years, he eventually uncovers a way to break free.
