Desi Kattey

“Desi Kattey” follows the lives of two orphans from a secluded village who make a living by crafting homemade firearms. The film chronicles their transformation into national-level shooters. Set in Mungera, a small village in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur District, known for its location by the sacred Ganges River and its production of homemade guns, the story centers on two young boys, Pali and Gyani. Like other unsupported orphaned children, Pali and Gyani work as laborers in a local gun-making factory to sustain themselves.
