Day of the Flowers
Two spirited Scottish sisters, one a passionate leftist and the other the quintessential popular girl at school, embark on a journey to Cuba to scatter their deceased father’s ashes, a place steeped in family lore due to his involvement in the Revolution. Upon reaching Havana, they accidentally misplace the ashes and find themselves entangled in a series of romantic and perilous escapades as they attempt to recover them. This vibrant and humorously ironic story explores themes of cultural miscommunication and shattered dreams.
