Between 2007 and 2011, 725 young individuals from Quebec, aged 16 to 24, lost their lives in car crashes, with half of these fatalities linked to high speeds and alcohol consumption. In an effort to delve into the mindset of these young drivers, host and documentary filmmaker Paul Arcand engages with them directly. He offers a platform for these speed enthusiasts to share their perspectives, while also highlighting the stories of two accident survivors who have suffered both physical and emotional trauma. Additionally, Arcand speaks with the mother of young Bianca Leduc, who was tragically killed by a drunk driver while under her babysitter’s care, and the parents of 23-year-old Michael Borduas, who was left with severe disabilities following an accident.
