Confidential Informant

During a surge in crack-related crime, two narcotics officers are on the trail of a murderer who killed a fellow cop. In their quest for clues, Moran and Thorton bribe a drug-addicted informant. To support his family, Moran entangles the informant in a perilous plot, which draws the attention of a wary internal affairs investigator.
