Single mother Madison is struggling financially just two weeks before Christmas. The IRS has frozen her bank account, her ex-partner isn’t providing any support, and she’s just been let go from her job. In a bid to cover her expenses and buy presents for her teenage kids, Madison dives into the bustling gig economy. This leads her to meet Alec Darby, a former professional football player with an abrasive personality who is also secretly nearing financial ruin.
