“Class Divide” offers an insightful examination of the gentrification and increasing disparity in New York City, focusing on a specific area in Chelsea at the intersection of 10th Avenue and 26th Street. On one side, the Chelsea-Elliot Houses have long served as affordable public housing for low-income families. Directly across the street, since 2012, stands Avenues: The World School, an expensive private institution.
