Citizen Gangster

Inspired by the true story of a World War II veteran and devoted family man who becomes a bank robber, this film follows Eddie Boyd as he grapples with his post-war disillusionment. Caught between the necessity of supporting his young family and his unachieved ambition of making it big in Hollywood, Eddie finds a way to pursue both by robbing banks with a flair reminiscent of Hollywood films. However, this pursuit of his dream ultimately steers him into a perilous and tragic journey.
