¡Casa Bonita Mi Amor!
Casa Bonita, which first welcomed guests in 1974 within a modest strip mall, is a sprawling Mexican restaurant often likened to Disneyland. It offers a surreal blend of Old West and Acapulco themes, renowned for its indoor waterfall, cliff diving shows, and eerie caves. This iconic venue gained additional fame after being spotlighted in a memorable 2003 episode of South Park. Upon hearing that Casa Bonita might permanently shut down, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone strive to save this cherished relic of their youth and a significant part of Denver’s heritage.
