Hugo Vartan, a writer in search of an intriguing narrative for his upcoming book, stumbles upon a compelling tale. It involves the sister of his roommate’s boyfriend, who has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital. She is accused of a gruesome crime: allegedly killing her partner by decapitating him with a knife and placing his head on the steering wheel of her vehicle.
