En route to a family reunion, the Herring family experiences a severe car crash and finds themselves awakening in a frightening, dimly lit basement. They are not alone; a creature, confined in a cage, hungers for human flesh. With a shadowy figure tending to the beast as if it were a pet, the family must unite to devise a plan to overcome both adversaries and secure their freedom.
