Am Tag als Bobby Ewing starb
In 1986, the anti-nuclear power plant movement in Brokdorf is nearing its end, with only one rural community, the “Alternative Wohnkollektiv Regenbogen,” still holding out. This group is content with their routine of endless consensus meetings, sheep shearing, and communal nude bathing. Their peaceful existence is disrupted when two city dwellers, Hanne and her son Niels, arrive. Hanne quickly adapts to scream therapy, vegetable gardening, and the tantra sessions led by the commune’s guru, Peter. However, Niels becomes increasingly frustrated with the commune’s strict rules and, in rebellion, joins the militant anti-nuclear resistance, disturbing the commune’s serene disorder. The real upheaval occurs when a reactor explodes in far-off Chernobyl, coinciding with the death of Bobby Ewing, the beloved oil tycoon from “Dallas,” who is a favorite character among the commune members.
