This film takes viewers on a journey through both the challenges and the unexpected beauty found in harsh environments. We meet Rick and Cindy, along with Godfather Lalo, as they navigate the flood channels beneath the glitzy surface of Las Vegas. Meanwhile, Dave endures the isolation of the arid Californian desert, and April participates in a Mars mission simulation in the Utah desert. Amidst their struggles, pain, and moments of laughter, we are transported to a world that feels unfamiliar, yet we soon realize that the people we meet share a common humanity with us.
