A father wrestles with memories of the past, while a daughter battles for what lies ahead. Meanwhile, a mother seeks understanding. The Boyajian family hasn’t observed Christmas for over a decade, ever since their son was taken from them during the Persian Gulf War, causing them to lose their faith. Now, a newcomer has entered their lives, coincidentally the same age their son would have been.
