The Pit and the Pendulum

A group of seven students responds to an ad seeking participants for an experiment aimed at discovering ways to eradicate the feeling of pain. Upon reaching a remote research facility, they are greeted by the enigmatic scientist, JB Divay. At first, the students brush off JB’s peculiar interests in hypnosis, clocks, and cacti as harmless quirks. However, as members of the group start vanishing one after another, they begin to suspect that JB’s motives might not be as benign as they initially thought.
