In 1844 Ireland, a thief named Liam becomes enamored with Cora, a woman of noble birth. Their romance interferes with fate, prompting celestial beings to transport Liam to modern-day Oregon. There, he must ensure Cora weds someone else. As her partner in the police force, Liam grapples with his lingering emotions for her.
