Wait for Me and I Will Not Come

Alek (Gordan Kicic) is in a state of despair after his three-year relationship with Teodora (Milica Mihajlovic) comes to an end. He is engulfed in sorrow, frequently talks about ending his life, and refuses to accept the breakup. He regularly indulges in self-pity with his friend Bane (Milos Samolov), who advises him to move on. Despite this, Alek persistently contacts Teodora, who has since developed feelings for Nemanja (Branislav Trifunovic). While Teodora is firm and resolute with Alek, she becomes vulnerable and compliant around Nemanja. The complication arises as Nemanja harbors feelings for Marina (Vanja Ejdus), a younger woman. However, Marina is not interested in Nemanja; instead, she is drawn to Alek’s melancholic demeanor. Unaware that his “allure of despair” stems from his heartbreak over Teodora, she believes Alek’s somber nature is inherent.
