Wait for Me in Another World

Marcela, a young woman residing in Mexico City, earns her livelihood by teaching ballroom dance. Her life appears to be on track as she dreams of opening her own dance school and has romantic aspirations. However, her world is disrupted when she discovers unsettling developments at her parents’ home. An underlying tension is gradually intensifying each week. Her mother, Gloria, seems detached, speaking of unusual occurrences that deviate from her usual routine and experiencing memory issues. Around the same time, her father, Nacho, loses his job, which takes a toll on his self-esteem. Marcela decides to set aside her personal ambitions to focus on her parents’ challenges and work towards restoring harmony within the family.
