Long zai tian ya

Jimmy and Tiger are part of the Chinese national wushu team, visiting Los Angeles for exhibition performances. Tiger, however, has a secret plan to defect and build a new life in L.A. When Jimmy discovers Tiger’s intentions, he tries to intervene but ends up missing his return flight to China. Stranded and out of his element, Jimmy’s only support comes from Andy, a witty local youth. Meanwhile, Tiger gets involved with a mafia boss. Trouble arises when Andy accidentally takes a detergent box filled with cocaine that Tiger was responsible for. This mistake forces Andy and Jimmy to confront Tiger and his gang. Their sole ally in this predicament is Penny, the girlfriend of Tiger’s boss. The once inseparable friends now find themselves as fierce adversaries.
