The Son of Raw’s the Roman

Set in 400 AD in what is now Western Europe, the story follows a Roman soldier who, after being injured in an unexpected clash with local Germanic tribes, retreats into a sprawling forest to heal his severe wounds. Within this sanctuary, he is granted another day of life by the Gods and encounters an escaped Egyptian slave who has fled his own encampment. The two men face numerous trials, both from each other and from the harshness of nature, as well as their own deep-seated internal struggles. With death looming ever closer to the Roman, like a shadow, the journey ahead is fraught with uncertainty.
