Stephen Chow portrays a self-centered yet occasionally benevolent lawyer who manipulates his servant for personal gain. Eric Kot, playing the servant, is deceived by what he believes to be love and ultimately decides to leave Chow, swearing never to seek his assistance again. However, Kot soon finds himself in serious trouble with the British authorities and faces execution, prompting him to seek Chow’s help. Chow attempts to defend his former servant but struggles to navigate the courtroom, as he is unfamiliar with Western legal procedures.
