Borderline
“Borderline,” adapted from the novels “Borderline” and “La Brèche,” chronicles the life of Kiki through different phases. With her mother in a mental institution, Kiki is brought up by her grandmother. Largely unsupervised, she finds solace in her education. Her life before reaching 30 is anything but a fairy tale, as she turns to sex and alcohol as her primary escapes and constants. She moves from one man to the next in her quest for fulfillment.
